During the holiday season, The Giving Trees delivers free, natural Christmas trees (5-6 ft Douglas Firs) - plus stands, lights, ornaments, and decorations - to individuals and families who need extra care and support.
Our family started this tradition in 2020 to generate a little extra joy for those who need an extra boost during the holidays. Since then, we have delivered over 4,000 free trees across 34 US states and 11 countries around the world.
Greater Portland & Southwest Washington
In 2024, The Giving Trees is focusing on serving individuals and families who live in:
Greater Portland, including the counties of Multnomah, Washington, Polk, Marion, Clackamas, and Hood River.
Southwest Washington, including Clark County

Outside of Oregon & Washington
We are delivering trees on a very limited basis to individuals and families who live outside of Oregon or Washington. If you live outside of Oregon and Washington and would like to request a free treee, please contact rudy@gtrees.org to see if we have trees available in your area.
